Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains what Markdown to PDF (bingemind.com/markdown-to-pdf) collects and why.

What the tool does with your input

The tool runs in your browser. We do not send the text you type or the files you open to our servers. If your Markdown links to an image on the web, your browser loads that image from the image's own server, as it does on any page.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect names or email addresses, unless you contact Bingemind. If you do, we use your details only to reply.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data such as your IP address, browser, device and pages viewed. We use this data in aggregate to improve the site. Learn how Google uses data in its "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page. You can block the tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising and third-party vendors

We may show ads from Google AdSense and other third-party vendors. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info to opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising.

When ads are on, Google shows its own consent message where the law requires it, and you can change your choice there. You can also change it in your browser settings or by clearing cookies. The site has no other cookie banner.

Your browser's local storage

The site saves your light or dark theme choice, your PDF settings, and your last Markdown draft in your browser, so you do not lose your work. This stays on your device. Use the Clear button or your browser settings to remove it.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Write to Bingemind.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest update.
