Is this funny award certificate maker free?

Yes. It is free to use as often as you like. There is no sign-up, no trial and no watermark on the PDF, the PNG or the print. You can make one certificate or a page for every person on a list.

Do I need to make an account?

No. Open the page, pick an award, type a name and press Download PDF. The tool remembers your design and signature lines on your own device, so the next visit is faster. It does not keep the names you type.

Can I make certificates for a whole class or team at once?

Yes. Choose Many names and paste one name per line. Add an award after a comma if one person needs their own award, or tick the box to give each person a different random award. Download PDF then makes one file with a page for each person.

What paper size should I print on?

Use US Letter in the United States and Canada, and A4 almost everywhere else. Both print in landscape. Card stock of 65 to 110 lb (about 175 to 300 gsm) looks best and fits a standard 8.5 by 11 inch or A4 frame. Choose the Ink saver design for a low-ink black print.

Are the funny awards safe for kids and the office?

Yes. Every award teases a habit or a strength, never how a person looks, their age, their health or their grades. The student and family lists are written for children. You can still edit any title to fit your group.

Can I write my own award title?

Yes. Type any title and reason line in the form. The award ideas list is only a starting point. Long titles shrink to fit and can use two lines, so nothing is cut off on the printed page.

Where do the names I type go?

Nowhere. The certificate, the PDF and the PNG are made in your browser on your device. The page does not upload names, lists or awards to a server. You can turn off your internet after the page loads and it still works.

Make a certificate for every name at once

Teachers and coaches often need 20 or 30 certificates. Choose Many names and paste the list, one person per line. You can copy a column of names straight from a spreadsheet. To give one person their own award, add it after a comma, for example Liam Chen, Super Helper Award. If a name has a comma in it, put the name in quotes.

Tick Give each person a different random award and everyone gets their own title from the list you chose. Not happy with the mix? Press Shuffle awards. Use Previous and Next to check each page, then make one PDF with a page for each person, or print them all in one go.

How to keep funny awards kind

Joke about habits and strengths, such as the coffee runs, the playlists or the tidy desk.
Do not joke about looks, weight, age, money, health or grades.
Give everyone an award, so nobody feels left out.
If you are not sure the person will laugh, pick a warmer title. Every award in this tool is meant to make the person smile.

Printing tips

Question	Answer
Which paper size?	US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) in the US and Canada, A4 (210 x 297 mm) in most other countries. Both print in landscape.
Which paper?	Card stock of 65 to 110 lb (about 175 to 300 gsm) feels like a real award. Plain paper is fine for a party.
Low on ink?	Choose the Ink saver design. It uses thin black lines and no color fills.
Edges cut off?	In the print window, set margins to None or Minimum and scale to Fit to page.
Want a frame?	A standard 8.5 x 11 in or A4 frame fits the full page.

Your names stay on your device

The certificate is drawn in your browser, and the PDF and PNG are made on your device. The page does not upload the names or the class list, which is important when the awards are for children. The tool saves only your design, color, paper and signature lines, so the next set takes less time.
